Removing alcohol and coffee from cloth
First wipe with lukewarm water, then wash in 1/3 water and 2/3 of 90º alcohol, then rinse.
Removing chewing gum from the carpet
Wipe the affected spot with an ice cube; then the gum can be removed easily.
Removing chocolate stains from leather
Clean with a little lukewarm, very salty water.
Removing ink stains from white cloth
Use water with a few drops of Javelle water (Savo).
Removing marker stains from cloth
Clean with lukewarm water. If the stain does not come out, add some 90º alcohol to the lukewarm water.
Removing sauce stains from cloth
First apply a little trichlorethylene to dissolve the fat, then clean in water with a little 90° alcohol added (cotton, linen, jute) or soap (synthetic fibres).
Removing tea stains from cloth
Apply a mixture of alcohol and white vinegar (50 / 50). Rinse with water with a gentle liquid cleaner added.
