Over 88% of the customers of the water supply companies that belong to the Veolia Water group are "very satisfied" or "satisfied" with the services provided to them, according to the second annual customer satisfaction poll carried out this autumn for Veolia Water by Tambor. Highly evaluated too was the quality of the water supplied (more than 32% of respondents are very satisfied and 53% satisfied with it). A high degree of satisfaction was also expressed by customers when it comes to the operating conditions of customer centres and the professionalism of water supply companies' employees.
The telephone poll took place in August and September 2006 in all the regions where the companies of the Veolia Water group operate. A total number of 4,500 respondents were addressed.
The poll results will serve for further improvement of the services provided by individual water supply companies. The survey revealed, for example, that consumers want to be informed not only about the quality of water and its price but also about water supply emergencies and shutdowns. Therefore, Veolia Water is coming up with an offer to send relevant information on this topic in the form of short text messages. The SMS INFO service is intended for the general public, offices, companies, i.e. for all those who would like to be informed about emergencies of water mains or the sewerage system, important planned shutdowns of water supply, etc. It is already possible to register for the new service, which will be provided free of charge by water supply companies of the Veolia Water group from January 2007, online at www.voda-info.cz or through the call centre on the telephone number 840 111 111 - 112.
