The country's largest water company is changing its brand and corporate identity

Effective from 24 November 2005, Veolia Water in the Czech Republic is renamed VEOLIA VODA. Along with the new brand, the company's entire visual identity is changing, including the logo. "We hope that with this change, VEOLIA VODA will be perceived as a modern, dynamic and customer-oriented open company. The objective of the rebranding is strengthening of the Veolia brand image as a symbol of trust, high quality and professionalism, " Eva Kučerová, Head of Communication and Marketing for Central Europe and Russia, Veolia Water told ČTK.

The company proceeded to re-brand along with its shareholder, Veolia Environnement (VE). VE reorganised its brand system as from 3 November 2005, aiming to increase international brand awareness and encourage cohesion between VE companies. This change is intended to send a strong signal concerning VE's long-term strategy to all corners of the world. All VE divisions will work under a single brand and the field of activity of the individual divisions will always be in the language of the country where the company operates.

The new graphic logo represents a man's head and joined arms that surround and protect it, just as individual VE divisions protect our environment with their services.

Veolia Water, a division of Veolia Environnement, is the largest water management company in the world and in the Czech Republic. It serves 4.2 million people in the CR, employs 6,300 people and achieves a turnover of approx. CZK 11 billion.
